"I desire your father is alive today" Murphy Afolabi's wife becomes emotional as she celebrates daug

Deenat Animashaun, the spouse of the late Murphy Afolabi, mourns his absence while their daughter, Fathia Afolabi, graduates from high school.

The proud mother cannot control her tears of happiness as she wishes her baby daddy was alive to witness their daughter’s achievements.

However, Deenat prays for everything to go perfectly so that her daughter can achieve all her goals in life.

She writes, “My tears of joy are uncontrollable as you graduate from secondary school today @fathia_afolabi. I desire your father is alive today to witness one of his accomplishments. It all started like a play, but Fathia, Allah made it a reality. But all glory and adoration to Almighty Allah, the knower of all things.

As you ascend in life, may the Almighty perfect it for you to achieve all you aspire in life.
To all the Teaching staff and non-teaching staff, as well as the founder of Abba coterie secondary school, I express my heartfelt gratitude for your hard work. The remarkable feat you all demonstrated in your dedication and commitment to the moral and academic development of our children is deeply appreciated. May God bless and reward all of you.”

Black Sunday as Nollywood loses Murphy Afolabi

It should be noted that Murphy Afolabi passed away on Sunday, the 14th of May, 2023, after reportedly slipping on bathroom tiles and hitting his head on a hard surface.

Nollywood celebrities declared Sunday as a Black day because the movie industry lost two actors. Many took to their timelines to share somber images to mourn the death of Murphy Afolabi.

The sudden death of actor Murphy Afolabi came as a shock to many, as he had recently celebrated his 49th birthday on the 5th of May. Reports by Seun Oloketuyi suggested that the actor lost his life after slipping on bathroom tiles.

Nollywood artists, including Adeniyi Johnson, Papa Show, Biola Bayo, Damola Olatunjji, Sam Olatunji, Yinka Solomon, Mercy Aigbe, Kemi Korede, and many others, expressed their grief for their colleagues’ deaths on social media.

The actor was laid to rest amidst tears by his children, colleagues, family, and friends at his residence in Ikorodu, Lagos State.
