After being released from prison he went back to his house in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, before moving to New York City, where his wife had been living.

After Camille was seen without her wedding ring a few weeks later, suspicions of their divorce began to circulate. Cosby’s representative, Andrew Wyatt refuted the rumors saying the couple is still together. He told:

“I know many people who don’t wear rings and they haven’t worn them in 30 years. It’s hilarious because Mr. & Mrs. Cosby have been happily married for 57 years and counting.”

Her mother worked in a nursery, while her father was a chemist at Walter Reed General Hospital. Her father earned his master’s degree from Fisk University and her mother her bachelor’s degree from Howard University.

Johnnetta Cole of Washington, D.C.’s Howard University honored Bill Cosby with an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree in June 1987. Cosby attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he received his master’s degree in 1990 and his doctorate in education (Ed.D.) in 1992.
