'Law & Order: SVU' Costumer Josh Wallwork Passes Away at 45 from Coronavirus Complications

"Law & Order: Svu" cast and crew send love and prayers as the death of costumer Josh Wallwork leaves them heartbroken. Josh, whose death was first brought to light by a close family friend, passed away on the 26th of March 2020 from COVID-19.

The talented wardrobe personnel was indeed a fantastic person. His family friend mentioned that he was loved by many, which is evident in people's response to his untimely death.

"He was the kindest, gentlest man I ever got to know on SVU; we were extremely lucky to have him as our wardrobe personnel."

Josh had only been working on the set of "SVU" for a short period when he died from the virus infection, but he was not new to NBC. He had worked on the set of the NBC drama starring Mariska Hargitay since last year.

Before his work with NBC, he had been costume designer on the set of great shows like "The GET DOWN," "BULL," and "madame secretary," which starred Téa Leoni.

Josh had also made costumes for Cirque de Soleil's OVO and a ballet company before his work with TV shows. He was a reputable customer who was much valued.

Although he is known for his role with Madonna, who played Susan, he also featured in "Crocodile Dundee" of 1986 and a couple of TV shows such as "The Sopranos." Play Horizons made a tribute to the 69-year-old which read:

"With love and heavy hearts, Playwrights Horizons pays tribute to Mark Blum, a dear longtime friend and a consummate…"

His co-stars were not left out: Madonna took to Instagram to post a heartwarming message along with a picture of her with Mark while Rossana Arquette, who played his wife, sent her condolences to his family and supporters.
