LoL Prowler's Claw Rework: Stats, Changes, and More
Riot will be reworking the item Prowler’s Claw in Patch 13.10.
The release of the season 11 item rework was one of Riot’s most controversial moves to League of Legends. The item rework altered many of the items in the game, adding some new items while removing several.
In addition, Riot included a new item category called Mythic items, which are extremely expensive items that provide various statistical bonuses based on the number of items equipped. They also introduced Legendary goods that worked in tandem with their mythic counterparts.
The item rework aimed to radically alter the game and make it more exciting and enjoyable to play. Though these item changes appeared to be beneficial initially, it soon became apparent that they were more problematic than beneficial. Unlike the previous items, mythic items restricted many champions’ item choices, and certain champions, such as Ezreal, did not even receive a good mythic item.
Riot has tried numerous times over the years to balance these items, including adding and removing many items. But none of them appear to have worked. So Riot is revisiting the itemization yet again in the mid-season.
Riot will be changing many items in the game with patch 13.10, including Prowler’s Claw. The item has been quite popular since its release. It gives mobile champions a free dash, thereby removing their counterplay.
Riot has already discussed the problems with Prowler’s Claw in a Dev blog and stated that they would like to alter the item. So, Riot is finally getting around to reworking Prowler’s Claw in Patch 13.10.

Prowler’s Claw Rework

Stats
- 55 AD
- 15 Lethality
- 15 Haste
Sandstrike – After dashing, blinking, or exiting stealth, your next attack on a champion deals an additional (85 + 35% bonus AD if melee or 65 + 25% bonus AD if ranged) physical damage (5s CD) If dealt by a melee champion, this also slows the target by 99% for 0.5s
Build Path
The new Prowler’s Claw will now cost 100 less gold, thus costing a total of 3000 gold. The item will no longer be a Mythic item and will be a LEgendary item instead.
Release Date
The Prowler’s Claw Rework will hit live servers on Patch 13.10, which is scheduled to release on Wednesday, May 17, 2023.
