Beckett Fulfilled His Father's Dream

Beckett was born to Malcolm from his father's third marriage to Kelley McDowell. He was born Beckett Taylor McDowell on January 29, 2004, over a decade after his parents married.

He is a musician and recently recorded an emotional song, "Pale Blue Eyes," for which his father starred in the music video. This song is also about his father as he reminisces about his younger days with his dad.

Beckett also spoke in an interview about his relationship with his father. After the song's release, Malcolm said it was a "dream" that his son chose to write a song about him. He said:

"There is nothing more special for a parent to witness one of his children blossom into such an extraordinary talent. It means the world to me, because the inspiration for it, apparently, were my eyes."

The actor also revealed that his son had written the lyrics while eating pizza, and he loved that they worked together on the video even though he got emotional.

Beckett also revealed that the song had different meanings. It could mean something to someone going through loss or who is going through a breakup. He wanted a mysterious and open-ended piece and achieved his vision.

Besides music, Beckett is also known for being the guitarist in the 2020 short anthology film "The WOMAN Collection." He has also appeared in "O Lucky Malcolm!" in 2006 and in the podcast series "This Blonde Can Talk About Anything."

Malcolm McDowell Became a Father for the 5th Time at Age 65

Malcolm married his third wife on November 12, 1991, but they started having children after he was 60. He welcomed his third child six months after he turned 61.

The actor welcomed his fourth child, Finnian Anderson McDowell, on December 23, 2006, when he was 63. His fifth child, Seamus Hudson McDowell, was born on January 7, 2009, when the actor was 65.

Malcolm was excited at his second chance to be a father. The first time he ventured into fatherhood, he and his ex-wife were always busy with their careers, and the children usually ended up with nannies.

However, not long after the birth of his fifth child, he talked about life with his little kids. He revealed that he never stayed away from them for more than two weeks.

The actor remarked that if his job kept him away from home for longer, he would travel with the kids even though it was not easy. Malcolm stated:

"It's so hard to travel with them. It's like moving an army."

Despite the logistics struggle, the actor would rather be with his kids than choose the easy way out. They also made him want to keep working because he wanted them to have the best lives. Now that most of his kids have grown, they have made their father proud.
